Google Phone app Will Get Support for Call Recording

The recent teardown of Google's dialer app by XDA Developers shows that a new call recording feature will soon arrive. The teardown has been done on the Google Phone app version 43.0.289191107 on a Pixel 4.
It revealed a possible new layout, icon, and a few other assets regarding call recording in the dialer, including an in-call button to initiate recordings. Call recording hasn’t been possible on stock Android versions without rooting since Android 8 Oreo. Google closed workarounds app developers used to enable this functionality in Android 9 Pie, presumably for privacy and security reasons.

But we are not certain about the purpose of implementation of the call recording back into the native phone app again, but it will be nifty now. This Google dialer app comes natively on all Google Pixel devices, Android One devices and even Xiaomi devices and other compatible devices.
Unfortunately, APK teardowns cannot officially verify if a feature is coming or not, and this situation is no different. And even if Google does implement it, we aren’t sure if it would be limited to certain devices or not. Apparently, this is a feature for Xiaomi device owners have been wanting for quite some time, so it would make sense they would get the feature, though that’s just speculation at this time.
