Samsung Galaxy S20 series Will not Support 120Hz Above FHD Resolution

It’s just less than a month for Samsung's big 'Unpack Event' on 11 February when we are going to see the next flagship series, but the rumors has been making a solid picture of the same. According to these leaks and rumors, we're going to get more or less a 6.2-inch Galaxy 20, 6.7-inch S20+ and 6.9-inch S20 Ultra device. Reports are also suggesting that the company is going to jump upon a 120 Hz display.
Here's a tweet from a tipster,@IceUniverse is claiming that Samsung is going to restrict the 120 Hz mode while the resolution of the display is set to QHD+ which will limit one to use both best resolution and best refresh rate simultaneously. Therefore, these are the certain option that has been left: FHD at 60Hz and 120 HD and QHD+ at 60Hz.

As the upcoming flagship lineup is equipped with higher pixel density display and along with higher refresh rate, it will take more juice from the battery so this would the way opted by the Samsung to prevent the battery drain. But it wouldn't be right to cap the higher refresh rate at lower resolution from a consumer perspective. As of now, we can only speculate the matter going on behind a closed door but to gain a realistic perspective we should wait for the next month's Unpack Event.
The upcoming S20 lineup will ship with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM coupled with the company's own Exynos 9830 or Snapdragaon 865 based on the region. The upcoming Galaxy S20 and S20+ are rumored to equipped with 12MP primary sensor along with 64MP telephoto and 12MP ultra-wide sensor and S20+ is also aided with a ToF sensor. While Galaxy S20 Ultra is rumored to equipped with a 108MP primary sensor along with a 48MP telephoto senor, 12MP ultra-wide sensor and a ToF sensor.
