Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Not To Feature 100x ‘Space Zoom’

According to the renowned leakster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce), the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 20 will not feature the 100X zoom while the Galaxy 20 will still use 108MP Bright HM1 sensor from the S20 Ultra. It is also supposed that the smartphone will have an additional sensor to fix the autofocus issue which was reported by some users.

The 100X zoom is actually not the optical one. In fact, the telephoto lens coupled with the 48MP sensor only capable for 4X magnification. While the rest of the so-called zoom is actually digital crop that is possible due to high resolution and large sensor. However, 100X zoom is actually quite blurry and users criticize it too. So, that Samsung seems to not feature it in the upcoming Note 20.

While the Galaxy Note 20 is still the early stagy and there is not much known about it. But the recent leaks are suggesting that the device could feature Exynos 992 SoC. It is also rumored that to have a triple rear camera setup and a punch-hole camera in front. Since these are just some early leaks so these should can be taken as a pinch of salt.
We expect Samsung to unveil the Galaxy Note 20 in August, but the company is yet to confirm that officially. Either way, there’s no more info on the device as of now, but we’ll hopefully get more details in the days ahead.
