Samsung Launch Galaxy M01 and Galaxy M11 in India Starting at Rs. 8,999

Aside of leaks and rumors, Samsung has launched two new smartphone of M series in India today as Galaxy M01 and Galaxy M11 of the budget category. While the both smartphones have featured Snapdragon SoC, an IPS display, multi-camera setup and more.

Galaxy M01: Specs and Features

The Galaxy M01 is the younger variant that launched today, featuring a 5.71-inch HD+ TFT LCD display with a waterdrop notch and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The handset is powered by Snapdragon 439 SoC coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage which can be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card.

Galaxy M01 features a dual rear camera setup with a 13MP (f/2.2) primary sensor and a 2MP (F/2.4) depth sensor along with a 5MP (f/2.2) selfie camera.
The whole package is supported by a 4,000mAh battery pack but does not support fast charging. It also comes with the older microUSB port instead of the USB Type-C port. Galaxy M01 runs Android 10-based OneUI 2.0 out-of-the-box.



Galaxy M11: Specs and Features

Galaxy M11 comes with a modern design aspect with a punch-hole camera cutout for the selfie camera. It features a 6.4-inch HD+ IPD TFT display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The handset is powered by the Snapdragon 450 SoC, coupled with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB storage which is also expandable. This package is supported by a bigger 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support along with USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack and other connectivity features.

Galaxy M11 features a triple rear camera setup of a 13MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor along with the punch-hole cutout containing 8MP (f/2.0) selfie sensor. Galaxy M11 runs Android 10 based OneUI 2.0 out of the box.

Price and Availability

Galaxy M01 comes in a single 3GB+32GB variant priced at Rs. 8,999 in India with three color options- Black, Blue, and Red.
While the Galaxy M11 priced for Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB+32GB variant and Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB+64GB variant. The device comes in three color variants- Black, Metallic Blue, and Violet. While both the smartphones have featured polycarbonate back as they featured for budget segment market.
Both the phones have gone on sale via Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung’s online store, and other offline stores across India starting today.
