Mi AirDots 2 SE Launched With Dual Microphone (ENC) and Upto 20-Hour Battery Life
Xiaomi is completely dedicated to true wireless earphone ecosystem. While the company has already launched a lot of it ranging from the most affordable Redmi AirDots to the expensive Mi True Wireless Earphones 2. Now, Xiaomi has launched another variant of Mi True Wireless Earphone 2 as Mi AirDots 2 SE today in the Chinese market.
The new earphone looks like a cocktail of the Redmi AirDots and Mi True Wireless Earphone. The earbuds follow similar design as the latter while its case look like the bulkier version of the case of the former. Each earbud weighs just 4.7 grams while the charging case weighs 48 grams.
Mi AirDots 2 SE features a 14.2mm dynamic drivers which is same as in the Mi True Wireless earphones. It also has dual microphone for ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation), semi in-ear design along with in-ear wear detection (IR sensor featured) and touch controls on both stems to control music playback, answer calls and invoke a voice assistant. These earbuds come with Bluetooth 5.0 but have no LDHC codec support like Mi True Wireless earbuds. It supports the AAC codec and auto-connects to Xiaomi devices upon opening the case.
Mi AirDots 2 SE offers up to 20 hours battery backup on a single charge. While the earbuds provide 5 hours backup and these can be charge d up to 4 times via case in tow. Its case comes with a Type C port which can juiced up it in around 1.5 hours. It only comes in white color.
Mi AirDots 2 SE is priced at just around Rs. 1,800 (169 yuan) in China and goes on sale from May 19.
