Latest Google Phone App Beta Now Available on Most Android Phones

Google Phone App Beta

Google's Phone app is one of the clean and minimalist dialer apps out there. The tech giant, Google, has added Phone app support for a few non-Pixel phones earlier this year in April and now, the app offers support on most Android phones as a part of Google Phone's beta program.

Google is currently limiting the wider availability of Google Phone app to beta user as reported by Android Police. You can join the beta program in order to download the app right from Play Store.

Here's how you can do this. If you haven't been part of Google Phone beta program, you will see a 'Your device isn’t compatible with this version’ error. So, if you are interested to get the Google Phone app on your device right now, you should probably sign up for the beta program before it gets filled.

After installing the app, you will have to set the Google Phone app as your default dialer app to start using it. While you won't be getting the Call Screen feature which is Pixel-exclusive feature by installing the Google Phone beta app. Although, it is also worth noting that you can expect to face occasional hiccups while using the Google Phone beta. We could expect Google to make the app available in the stable version soon, but we are not certain about its availability.
