Apple to Launch its First ARM-Powered Macs along with AirPods Studio on November 17
Apple has recently launched its iPhone 12 line-up of this year, so the company has preoccupied with its pre-orders and sales of iPhone 12 and 12 Pro. While the other two models- iPhone 12 mini and 12 Pro Max will be available in the next month but November seems to be marked for another major event- official announcement of Apple-powered MacBooks.

Apple has already announced that the company will be moving away from Intel and towards its own Silicon chip earlier in June during WWDC. However, the only hardware unveiled that day was the Mac mini-based Developer Transition Toolkit, powered by an Apple A12Z Bionic Chip.

Jon Prosser, renowned Apple leakster reports that the ARM Mac event scheduled for November 17, claiming Apple would officially confirmed the date a week earlier on November 10.

While a recent report suggest that a 12-inch MacBook will be the first macOS device to be powered by an Apple-designed Silicon chipset. And that chipset would be the Apple A14X, an upgraded version of the A14 used in iPhones and iPads. While it is noteworthy that nothing has been confirmed by Apple yet. It did say that it will need around 2 years to completely transition the Mac-line to its own Silicon, so expect to see another generation or two of intel-powered Macs.

John Prosser adds that there will be a “one more thing” at the ARM Mac event, the AirPods Studio- Apple’s first over-ear headphones. AirPods Studio is supposedly to be available in two variants – a sporty one for $350 and a premium model for $600. Earlier it was rumored that the Studio would be announced alongside iPhones, instead we got the HomePod mini.
