Google Calendar gets Task integration for both Android and iOS

Google has released its Google Task app for both Android and iOS back in April 2018, which is also integrated to Calendar on the Web. But after about 2.5 years, Google has decided to move its Task app to Calendar on both Android and iOS which allows users to create and view task from a mobile on Calendar.

This integration would possibly eliminate the need to have a separate Tasks app on a mobile device as you can now create new tasks and view existing ones in the Calendar app. But the company hasn’t pulled out the plug for Task app being alone as it available on both Play store and App Store as of now.

To create a new task in Calendar from mobile apps, you simply have to tap on the create button in the bottom-right corner, and tapping on the ‘Task’ and then you have to fill the details as always do and save it. It is not needed to mention that the task added or modified on the Calendar app will be cloud synced across all your supported devices automatically.

This new feature is already rolled out for Android and iOS and hoped to reach all G Suite customers and personal Google accounts in two weeks.
