Google Assistant Can Find Where Your Family Members Now; Here’s How

Google Assistant integration with Google Map

Google Assistant has already got a lot of features to enhance user experience in the Android world. It is not only limited to answer your queries but also help the user to control their smart home, smart devices and to keep track of your schedule. And now the Google Assistant is getting a new family-oriented feature in time for the holiday season. The one of the best of them is the new ‘Hey Google, where’s my family?’ voice command.

Well, you can now simply ask the Google Assistant where a certain family member is right now. This new feature will pull up the latest location of that family member via Google Maps or third-part partner apps like Life 360. You can now have your answers like, ‘Where is Clark?’ or ‘Where is Mom?’ in case you want to know their arrival or check on them.

While there is a certain condition which you have to fulfil to make this feature work. It needs you to have a Google family account where you can invite your other family members (should be over 13 years) and turn on location sharing in Google Maps for all. This feature would come in super handy if your kid is out with friends or on the way back from school or in case of any emergency.

You can also add sticky notes to the main screen of your smart display for everyone in the family to see. It could be any task like taking out the trash or not watching TV after 9 PM. The existing Family Bell Feature has got a lot of new sound effects via updates over time. The Smart Display has also got educational and entertainment content for younger viewers, which you can access by simply saying ‘Hey Google, what can I learn with my family?’.
