OnePlus 8T Gets OxygenOS 11.0.5.6 with Camera, Fingerprint, Battery and Network Improvements

OnePlus has started rolling out a new OxygenOS update (11.0.5.6) to its few month-old smartphone — OnePlus 8T. This update brings improvement to the fingerprint scanner, camera, battery, and network connection.

According to OnePlus, this OxygenOS 11.0.5.6 actually improves the accuracy while registering the fingerprint on the device. The company has also mentioned that this would improve the experience while using the fingerprint scanner as they fixed an issue that causes the screen to flash while unlocking the device.

Besides, this update also optimizes media file scanning for faster search results. Along with these major bug fixes and improvement, OnePlus says it has optimized power consumption on the device which brings a better battery life from the OnePlus 8T. But, it still a written dialogue unless you install and try out the improvement and actually see how it comes out.

With the update, OnePlus has also claimed to have optimized the network connection’s stability and overall stability of the video calls.
