Oppo Find X2 Series with Snapdragon 865 Launching in India Soon via Amazon


OPPO has introduced its flagships category Find X2 and Find X2 Pro 5G smartphones back in March this year and soon it rolled out in China and Europe. After about 2 months of the announcement of this series, the Chinese brand Oppo is launching the Find X2 Series soon in India.

The company has confirmed this on Wednesday on Twitter that the OPPO Find X2 is “coming to let you witness the #PerfectScreenOf2020 with a Billion colours and ultimate smoothness with its 120Hz Ultra Vision Screen!” While the company is yet to announce the launch date but we are expecting that to be soon as e-commerce site Amazon India has already made a landing page as “OPPO Find X2 Series Coming Soon” with the 'Notify Me' option for the users. The landing page of the flagship grade Find X2 Series (OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro) shows some highlights about the smartphone like the 120Hz OLED display, Snapdragon 865, etc. The Find X2 series was globally launched back in March and seems to compete with the Xiaomi Mi 10, OnePlus 8 series and Realme X50 Pro flagship phones in India.

The Find X2 series includes the OPPO Find X2 and Find X2 Pro while both offer identical designs and specifications but vary in storage and cameras configuration. Both of these smartphones offer a 6.7-inch 120Hz QHD+ AMOLED Ultra Vision Screen with a punch-hole cutout having 240Hz touch sampling rate and HDR 10+ support. While the smartphone's front and rear side have Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The Find X2 series has powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC with 5G support modem and having triple thermal dissipation which uses thermal conductive gel, vapour chamber liquid cooling and multilayer graphite. The Find X2 comes with 8GB /12GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB /256GB (UFS 3.1) storage while the Find X2 Pro comes with 12GB LPDDR4X RAM with 256GB internal storage.
The Find X2 features a triple rear camera setup that comprises of a 48MP (f/1.7) Sony IMX689 primary sensor, 48MP (f/2.2) ultra wide-angle lens, and a 32MP (f/2.4) telephoto camera. It also has a 32MP selfie camera. The Find X2 Pro gets a slightly different camera setup with a 48MP (f/1.7) Sony IMX586 main sensor with 5x optical zoom, a 12MP (f/2.2) wide-angle lens and 13MP (f/3.0) telephoto lens. It also has the same 32MP (f/2.4) selfie camera.
The Find X2 Pro equipped with a 4,260mAh battery and is the first phone from the company to support 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 flash charging. The regular Find X2 gets a marginally smaller 4,200mAh battery and also supports 65W SuperVOOC fast charging. While the officially price has not been confirmed so we should still wait until the company confirms.
