Samsung Galaxy A31 Price leaked ahead of Launch; Higher Than Galaxy A30

Samsung has announced the mid-range Galaxy A31 smartphone in past March this year. The company has recently confirmed about the launch date of the upcoming smartphone to be June 4. While the Samsung has not revealed about the pricing and availability of the handset. Samsung has all set to launch its new Samsung Galaxy A31 today in India at 3PM IST.

Price and Availability

This smartphone will be sold online through Samsung's official website, Flipkart and offline via retail stores in India. While a recent leak from PriceBaba suggests about the pricing of the upcoming Galaxy A31 ahead of the launch. It looks like the latest Galaxy A31 will not follow the route of its predecessor Galaxy A30 as it doesn't go to fall into sub 20k INR while the later priced at Rs 16,990. The pricing of the Galaxy A31 is supposed to set higher due to the upgraded specifications and GST rate hike in the country.

As the report continue, it suggests that the Samsung Galaxy A31 will going to price at Rs 21,999 in the offline stores for the 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage variant. While the previous Galaxy A30 has launched with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage variant so it is obvious to have hike in price but it is huge due to the impact of GST hike.

Specification and Features

The Samsung Galaxy A31 is rumored to feature a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display which signifies of having a waterdrop notch. The smartphone will be powered with the MediaTek Helio P65 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. In terms of optics, Samsung Galaxy A31 will have a quad rear camera setup- 48MP primary sensor, 8MP wide-angle sensor, 5MP macro lens and 5MP depth sensor along with a 20MP selfie camera. The whole package will be powered by a massive 5,000mAh battery along with 15W USB Type C supported fast charging. In terms of connectivity features, it brings 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and Type C based data sync. The Samsung Galaxy A31 will arrive with the OneUI based Android 10 out of the box.
