YouTube Music Soon to Feature a New ‘Collaborate’ Button for Playlists

YouTube Music

YouTube is soon going to add a collaborating feature to its playlist in its YouTube Music. This feature has previously spotted in development a few months back. While, today, this feature has been shown up in YouTube Music as reported by 9to5Google. The collaborative playlist will help you and your partner or friends to create a common playlist.
If you open a playlist in YouTube Music, tap on the edit button (the pencil icon) then you will see a new 'Collaborate' button alongside the privacy settings of the playlist. Despite of the privacy settings you choose: public, private, or unlisted, the collaborating button shows up. But taking on the button doesn't make any difference and you simply could see a notification at the bottom saying "navigation unavailable".

The collaborate button can be found on the latest version of the YouTube Music Android app v3.69. While this won't show up in either Pixel 4 or YouTube Music app on iOS, according to the report. It may be possible that Google has been testing the button or its server-side rollout which may take the next few days or weeks. However, if you're not seeing the collaborate button then you shouldn't need to be freak out as you are not losing anything.
While this collaborative playlist may be a good feature for a lot of users as this allows each participant to control the music playback. This feature may save your time and discussion, and some to tease someone too so you will use that carefully when its rollout.
