Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G Key Specs Revealed and Launching on 26 November; Redmi Watch Could Tag Along as Well

Xiaomi — the Chinese giant has first launched the Redmi Note 9 series in India back in March this year. Now it is now only making its way to China but with a totally different design and internals. Earlier leaks and teaser suggested that the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G will be a rebadged Mi 10T Lite with minor upgrades (unveiled in Europe in October). Major specifications for the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G have surfaced online recently and fall in-line with the leaks.

The company has confirmed two major specs of the upcoming Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G for China. This smartphone is to be powered with Snapdragon 750G chipset similar to the Mi 10T Lite. It has also featured a 108MP primary sensor in the circular camera module on the rear. The leaked memo surfaced online has suggested the same.

Apart from the chipset and camera, the above memo revealed that the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G will possibly feature a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This smartphone will also be equipped with a 4,820mAh battery along with 33W fast charging. It is also supposed to bring NFC, 3.5mm headphone jack, Z-axis linear motion motor, and more in tow as usual.

The standard Redmi Note 9 5G has also surfaced online via Geekbench recently with MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset, coupled with 8GB RAM.

Xiaomi has finally confirmed its plans about the launching three Redmi Note 9 devices — Note 9, Note 9 Pro, and Max variants which is not all though actually. The poster has also mentioned the arrival of a Redmi smart product as well. As per speculations, it would the long-rumored Redmi Watch (or Mi Watch Lite, for the global market). The Redmi GM Lu Weibing had hinted at the Redmi Watch launch earlier this year, expanding its fitness and wearable portfolio.

The Redmi Watch has already shown up online with model number REDMIWT01 (via GizmoChina). The Mi Watch Lite has also bagged certification recently and carries model number REDMIWT02. We also know some of the key specs of this smartwatch. It is likely to feature a 1.4-inch HD square display with an auto-brightness feature, heart rate sensor, built-in GPS, water-resistance up to 50 meters, and a 230mAh battery.
