Kernel Source Code for OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro Released by OnePlus | Review
Just a week ago, OnePlus has launched its OnePlus 7 and
OnePlus 7 Pro devices. OnePlus 7 Pro has and ready completed its first sale while OnePlus 7 will probably available from the upcoming weeks. It not even the end of second week, OnePlus released the kernel sources for both of its OnePlus 7 devices. We could see custom ROMs for OnePlus 7 faster this year as OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 6T share similar specs. On the other side, OnePlus 7 Pro brings some latest flagship specifications on its OnePlus legacy.
It might take a few weeks for the developers to come out with special charm for the OnePlus 7 Pro users. The OnePlus 7 Pro comes with a 6.67-inch Fluid AMOLED display Quad HD+ resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. While the Company's OnePlus 7 comes with same previous 6.41-inch Optics AMOLED display as in OnePlus 6T. Both the devices are powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC and support up to 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB UFS 3.0 flash Storage. The devices come with Oxygen OS based on Android 9 Pie out of the box and support Android Q Beta.
In vision of optics specs, OnePlus 7 Pro sports 48 MP primary sensor f/1.6 aperture, a 16 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor f/2.2 aperture, and an 8MP telephoto sensor f/2.4 aperture. This device gives 117-degree ultra-wide-angle view and 3X lossless zoom. On the other hand, OnePlus 7 come with 48 MP + 5 MP dual setup with f/1.7 aperture and OIS. Both the telephoto and ultra-wide setup doesn't available on OnePlus 7. But both devices launched have support for 4K video recording and slow-motion video up to 720p at 480fps as OnePlus 6T.
For selfies, both OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro have same 16 MP IMX471 sensor with f/2.0 aperture and EIS. But there is a difference in the selfie camera module setup. OnePlus 7 come with the general dew drop notch in front while OnePlus 7 Pro come with a very strong pop-up style selfie module that can bear a load of 20 kg.
