OnePlus 3 & 3T receive stable Android Pie with Oxygen OS 9.0.2

It’s been three years when OnePlus has released OnePlus 3 and its successor OnePlus 3T and now their users have got their hands-on stable Android 9 Pie. OnePlus has already released their official beta updates earlier in April and now the company has come a step ahead and roll out the official Android 9 Pie update. The company has maintained its legacy of timely updates for its flagship level smartphones and look they have rolled the update based on Oxygen OS 9.0.2.
OnePlus roll out Android 9 Pie Beta to their OnePlus 3 and 3T in the last month, that brings most new feature that are still in the recent official release on Pie update. The users of the device can notice an updated system with brand new UI for Android Pie. The latest update also brings an updated android security patch of April 2019. It also brings notification support for third party app calls and Google Duo integration in native phone app that help in powerful image recognition experience. Further, the updated native camera app has brought support for Google Lens. Furthermore, this update also gets the new Gaming mode 3.0 feature that sport displaying text contained for heads-up notification. Along with these surface changes, this update also come with the new Do Not Disturb feature that lets user to set a specific time duration, and general bug fixes and improvements to the system settings.
OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users can expect the OTA update kick on their smartphone within a week. If you are supposing that you can download this update via VPN services, then this might not work out as it’s a region-based OTA update.
