First 5G Smartphone of Huawei 'Mate 20 X 5G' Official Update


Huawei has recently unveiled its first 5G smartphone, Mate 20 X 5G, in association with Etisalat telecoms service provider. in UAE. This handset come with the world's first 7nm 5G multi-mode chipset , Balongg 5000 5G modem that will also support addition 4G, 3G and 2G protocol. Huawei Mate 20 X 5G is also the first 5G smartphone to support both non-standalone (NSA) and Standalone (SA) 5G networks.

This device is  somewhat similar to the previous non-5G Mate 20X along with the 7.2-inch AMOLED display, triple rear camera set up of  40MP f/1.8 wide, 8MP f/2.4 telephoto with 5X optical zoom support, 20MP f/2.2 ultra-wide and 20MP f/2.0 selfie camera. This handset is also powered by Kirin 980 SoC similar to the previous 4G model, only the 4G modem is replaced by Balong 5000.

The 5G variant is sport with the smaller 4,200mAh battery inspite of the 5,000mAh present in the regular Mate 20 X. This will also have support for dual SIM while only one has support for 5G and the other one is only limited 4G. The new device will come with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage.

The 5G variant is already available for sale in Etisalat, UAE at around Rs 65,000. It is launch across various European countries before coming to China on July 26.
