New OTA brings Camera and face recognition fixes : Samsung M40

The South Korean Giant – Samsung is rolling out a new update to its Galaxy M40 Smartphone which will bring few camera improvements along with June Security Patch. The Firmware version of the new update is M405FDDU1ASG2 and the size of it is 378.40 MB in size. The update is being rolled via OTA and since it is been pushed out gradually it might take some time before it hits your smartphone.

Samsung Galaxy M40 features a 6.3-inch Infinity-O display with aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and 91% screen-to-body ratio along with the Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution. This device has a triple rear camera setup with a 32MP f/1.7 as primary sensor, 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle sensor and 5MP f/2.2 depth sensor. It also has a 16MP f/2.0 selfie camera while powering with a 3500mAh battery along with 15W fast charging.
Samsung Galaxy M40 is powered by a 11nm based Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 coupled with Kryo 460 CPU and Adreno 612 GPU. This has a 6GB RAM and 128 GB internal space that could be further extended via Micro SD card. It also has Widevine L1 certification for streaming of HD content on Netflix and Amazon Prime. There is also a fingerprint sensor on its rear along with the AI face recognition. This device also come with Android 9 Pie along with OneUI out-of-the-box priced at Rs 19,900.
