This seems to again peaceful moment in the two smart tv dongle companies. Hey, don't confusing? It's been obvious though there was a little cold war happened in-between Amazon and Google. Now it's finally overs as google is re-releasing its official YouTube app over the Fire TV sticks. The app will automatically available to both the Fire TV devices and once installed, it will offer support for all YouTube content and features. It will help you to access the content in 4K at 60 FPS and HDR.
Amazon is also enabling casting support in its Prime Video app on both Android and iOs. It will allow to cast the Prime Video content to any Chromecast, Android TV or Chromecast built-in devices.
Allow me to make you know what happened in the past of the two companies. Prime Video app have no casting support for the Chromecast devices while Google offers an official YouTube app on the Fire TV devices. In the meanwhile, with the increasing tension between the two companies, Google decided to drop out the app from the FireTV. But still Fire TV users have access to YouTube by the browsers whereas there was no support for the Prime content on the Chromecast.
A few months back, both companies have jointly announced that they will bring back YouTube to Fire TV and Prime content support on the Chromecast which was never before. Now both features are live to the both that will just for the company's benefits but also for the consumers.
