New Render Show Huawei P40 Pro PE To Launch With Penta-lens Camera

The upcoming Huawei P40 Pro PE from Huawei will be included in its P40 series. A new render suggest that this smartphone is to feature a Penta-lens camera system on the back. According to the famous tipster – Evan Blass, the Huawei P40 series is said to be made official on the 26th of March. A few other rumors also suggest that the Huawei P40 series brings the Huawei P40 and P40 Pro along with the Huawei P40 Pro PE.
The recent renders of the Huawei P40 Pro PE allegedly confirm that it comes in a rectangular-pill-shaped cutout on the top-left of the display with dual selfie cameras. Moreover, the device could be coming with a quad curved display and will be having a USB Type-C charging point at the bottom edge along with a microphone, a SIM card slot, and an external speaker. While the volume rockers along with the power button are positioned in its right side.

The Huawei P40 PE will feature five cameras with the camera bump-out. This rectangular camera housing is rumored to feature a dual-prism periscope lens that brings 10X optical Zoom in the handset.

The recently leaked render suggests that the premiere variant - Huawei P40 Pro Premium Edition feature five cameras including a periscope lens of 240mm focal length. Considering the main camera has a 24mm lens, that’s 10x optical zoom and while comparing it with the four-camera model, the Huawei P40 Pro, which has a 125mm periscope lens provide 5x optical zoom. Both variants have an 18mm ultra-wide camera. But the P40 Pro Premium Edition has two additional cameras- a dedicated macro lens and a 3D ToF sensor. While the Huawei P40 Pro will have a ToF sensor.

Huawei P40 will have a 17mm ultra-wide and a standard 80mm telephoto lens (so, 3x optical zoom). According to Teme, the Huawei P40 will have a 52MP main camera (1/1.3” sensor), 40MP cine camera (1/1.5” sensor) and an 8MP tele camera.

The tipster, Evan Blass has also claimed that the Huawei P40 Pro PE could come with a ceramic back. While Teme, another leakster has revealed that the Huawei P40 will be featuring a triple camera setup on the back while the P40 Pro will feature a quad camera set-up. Huawei has set to launch these smartphones on the coming 26 March. While there is no more information about the camera specs, but we are expecting more specification in the upcoming days.
