Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro Introduced again by the Company with IP69 rating and mPOS Functionality

In the last week, Galaxy XCover Pro was silently launched in Finland along with the Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 which has recently got proper introduction by Samsung.

This Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro is an enterprise-ready robust smartphone to target business professionals and field workers. It also comes with Samsung KNOX to protect crucial business information and the device is enhanced with unique partner-enabled mobility solutions for use in a wide range of business scenarios, including the ability to integrate the newly announced walkie talkie capability in Microsoft Teams.

The Galaxy XCover Pro also supports Samsung POS that allows this device to be used at the mobile-based point of sale (mPOS). Besides, it comes with features which let you track inventory and scan barcodes. It has two programmable buttons which is customizable to perform different actions like opening an app and turning on the flashlight.

This smartphone is resistance for water and dust and can also survive drops from a height of up to 1.5m carrying IP-68 and IP-69 certification as claimed the company. It also come with the MIL-STD-810G certification to make sure the device can withstand extreme weather conditions. The Galaxy XCover Pro features a 6.3" FHD+ Infinity LCD display with 20:9 ratio and can also be used with gloves or even when it's wet.

The Galaxy XCover Pro powered with Exynos 9611 SoC which has also featured in some mid-range devices including Galaxy M30s and coupled with 4GB RAM. It runs Android 10 based One UI 2.0 and has 64GB onboard storage and expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card.

The Galaxy XCover Pro sports a dual rear camera having 25MP f/1.7 primary sensor and 8MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor. While there is a 13MP f/2.0 punch-hole camera in the upper-left corner. It features a side-mounted fingerprint reader and an NFC chip. It also ships with a 4,050 mAh removable battery with 15W fast charging support. It measures a hair under 10mm thick and weigh 217 grams.

The Galaxy XCover Pro is scheduled to go on sale from January 31 for €500 (Rs. 39,499) in Finland.
