Redmi 10X To Launch on May 26 as World's First Dimensity 820 SoC Featured Smartphone

Xiaomi has recently debuted the Redmi Note 9 and Mi 10 Lite Zoom Edition. But, the company has about to introduced a new Redmi smartphone on May 26. Xiaomi's sub-brand Redmi has today confirmed that it will announce Redmi 10X series with the latest Dimensity 820 SoC in China. Redmi China General Manager, Lu Weibing said that the 5G smartphone in the new X series with the Dimensity 820 will come up to the expectations similar to the Redmi Note 8 Pro.


At the Dimensity 820 launch event, MediaTek has revealed that Redmi 10X would be the world's first smartphone to be powered by its latest 5G SoC. In the meantime, Redmi has shared the official teaser along with the launch on its Weibo channel.


The company has also shared the Dimensity 820 SoC AnTuTu benchmark score which comes at 415,672 points that surpasses the score of Snapdragon 765G by a slight margin. It also steps in the territory of Snapdragon 855 SoC that scores over 440,000. Some rumors are suggesting that the Redmi 10X will coupled with up to 6GB RAM and 256GB in-built storage.
The recently rendered teaser come in-line with a device recently spotted at TENAA having model number M2004J7AC. The device will support a squared quad rear camera housing having 48MP sensor in it. While the company has also said to launch the Redmi 10X and Redmi 10X Pro smartphone with the 48MP triple rear camera in standard variant and 48MP quad rear camera in the Pro variant.

It is also rumored that the Redmi 10X features an OLED display as there is no physical fingerprint scanner found. While there are not much known specifications have found yet so we should wait for.
