Amazfit Bip S Featuring 40-Day Battery Life Live for Sale in India for Rs 4,999
Xiaomi has recently launched its newest affordable smartwatch - the Amazfit Bip S in India. The company has earlier announced its arrival a couple of weeks ago followed by official pricing in the last week. Amazfit Bip S comes as a lightweight (31g) entry-level smartwatch with a heap of features and long-lasting battery.
Specifications
Amazfit Bip S is the successor of the native Bip which has been launched in India a couple of years ago. It is previously showcased at CES 2020 earlier this year. Amazfit Bip S features a 1.28-inch transflective color TFT display with 176 x 176 pixels resolution with Always-On feature. The body of the smartwatch is of polycarbonate and the display features 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. It also comes with a variety of color straps.
It connects over Bluetooth 5.0 to the smartphone and also features GPS. It has also equipped with sensors like PPG Bio-Tracking Optical Sensor, 3-axis acceleration sensor, and 3-axis geomagnetic sensor. Amazfit Bip S also featured with the heart rate tracking, sleep tracking and so on. The company has also mentioned “The Amazfit Bip S has a color-changing watch body with shades including carbon black, white rock, red orange and warm pink to satisfy your desire for color and expression.”
Amazfit Bip S has also come with water resistance up to 50 meters / 5 atm pressure. It equipped with a 200mAh battery which can last up to 40 days on a single charge as per the company's claim. While the battery life comes to 15 days if you regularly track heart rate and just 22 hours with continuous GPS + GLONASS usage.
This smartphone also features 10 sports modes including treadmill, outdoor running, walking, indoor cycling, outdoor cycling, open water, pool, yoga, elliptical trainer, and freestyle while it also has the ability to push smart notifications, including calls, messages, emails, weather alerts, control music playback and more.
