Google Play Store Removes Mitron and Remove China App, Here’s Why

Google has recently removed 'Mitron' and 'Remove China Apps' apps from its Google Play Store platform in India. Both the apps are kicked out from the Play Store on Tuesday and currently not available to download. Mitron has been popularized for the few days as TikTok rival and the app has been rated highly on the Google Play Store and made over 5 million downloads before it gets removed.


In the meantime, the 'Remove China Apps' has also been trending over couple of days due to the growing anti-China emotions in the country. This apps could detect all China based apps in your handset so that users can uninstall them. The OneTouchAppLabs, Jaipur based, has developed this app and announced on Twitter that the apps have been pulled from the Play Store while the app has also crossed 5 million downloads before being pulled.
Both 'Mitron' and 'Remove China Apps' apps are pulled out due to the Play Store policies violations. Mitron apps has been 'red-flagged' by Google and accused of violating its ' spam and minimum functionality' policy and showing repetitive content which means “copying content from other apps without adding any original content or value’ amounts to a violation.”

While the 'Remove China Apps' has been pulled out for violating Google Play Store's Deceptive Behavior Policy which means an app on Google Play Store cannot make changes to a user’s device settings, or features outside of the app without the user’s knowledge and consent as per TechCrunch. While an app can't encourage users to remove third-party apps. While there are no confirmations about their coming back to Play Store while if it do so we will certainly inform you, in the meantime, just stay tuned with us.
