Xiaomi's new Mi CC 10 Variant To Feature 108MP camera and 120X digital Zoom

A recent report from Xiaomishka mentioned about a new Xiaomi device to feature a 108MP camera with the '120X digital zoom' capability. This handset codenamed as "CAS" and supposed to be an unreleased variant Mi CC 10 series.
The report further mentioned that the Chinese giant has been working on this since the beginning of the year.
The telephoto camera uses a periscope setup to achieve a wider aspect through the smartphone's sensor which produces a 12X optical zoom with the giant 108MP sensor. While it is noteworthy that digital zoom just acts as like trimmed claws (gimmick) and the company might market the smartphone as the 120X (digital) zoom similar to the Samsung's 100X Space Zoom.

Xiaomishka has also reported that the sensor of CAS codenamed smartphone would not be Samsung's HMX sensor that used in other 108MP featured smartphones like Mi CC9 Pro, it will feature a new HM2 codenamed CMOS Image Sensor.
The Mi CC 10 variant has supported to be powered by the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 775G SoC along with the connectivity features like 5G and NFC. This Mi CC 10 variant is likely to be announced somewhat in July.
