Latest Telegram Beta v7.0 Adds Video Calling Support on Android

Telegram Beta v7.0 Adds Video Calling Support

After rolling out a video calling feature on iOS early this year, Telegram is now planning to introduce the same feature on Android. Recent reports suggest that the video calling feature is available in Telegram beta 7.0 on Android. For the working of the video-calling feature, both end users must have the latest beta. While, there is no support for group video calling and Telegram hasn't provided any clue for its arrival.

If you are interested to use the new feature, you can download the Telegram v7.0 beta APK from Microsoft's App Center. It will work concurrently with the existing Telegram app on your device so you have to login again before you can start using it. However, once you login in the Telegram beta then it will automatically sync your existing chats and you would be able to use it as before. Although the PiP mode works well too but some of the implementations are a bit buggy and sluggish.

Telegram is one of the most popular instant messaging apps that offers best privacy policy but for the longest time, users hard to put up with not being able to make video call on the app which is something that has been offered by all of its major competitors for years. However, Telegram now put that video-calling feature in its app for both iOS and Android.

But we haven't got any information about when this feature would come to the final stable version and will rolled out on the Play Store but we are hoping that it happens sooner rather than later.
